Gaming is a multi-billion pound industry powered by leading edge technology.  Games technology and concepts have led to significant advances in how we interact with one another, yet gaming may be regarded as frivolous.

It is time to take a look at some of the advances gaming has brought about and how we can push things further to radically improve human communication when we cannot be in the same place at the same time.

In 2006, whilst at IBM, he led thousands of colleagues into virtual worlds like Second Life with projects such as Wimbledon.
