Project Management: how to throw away the book

Project Management: how to throw away the book

Speaker: Don Southey
Location: Colwall Park Hotel, Walwyn Road, Colwall, Malvern, Worcester, WR13 6QG
Date: 07 March 2016 – 19:30-21:00

This event has been organised by the IET Hereford & Worcestershire Network.

Based on his entry for an international technical papers competition, in which he achieved UK Runner-up – Project Management category, Don will show us how difficult it is (but how rewarding) to cheat at project management. Suitable for anyone who has ever tried to run a project or is at any risk of having to do so. Don has about 20 years’ experience in running IT projects of all shapes and sizes, in Xerox, BNFL, Computacenter and Fujitsu, before retiring in 2015. He has a lively and sometimes humorous style, and also happens to be a published novelist, a STEM ambassador and the current IET Hereford & Worcester Network chairman.

This event is organised by the H&W IET and they have asked if BCS members could register through the IET web site.
